
Banks Ordered to Release Mortgage Data
The U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency said last week that it was ordering nine big banks that service mortgages to make public their monthly data on home loans.The order came in the wake of a complaint by a group of state attorneys general, blaming the agency for hampering a study on foreclosures. . . .
